Dans un premier temps, concernant la tendance g\u00e9n\u00e9rale \u00e0 l\u2019augmentation de la survie au cancer ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es. Les \u00e9pid\u00e9miologistes ont \u00e9galement not\u00e9 une augmentation de la survie dans les cas de tumeurs avec un pronostic vital tr\u00e8s fortement engag\u00e9. Cependant, il y a un risque non n\u00e9gligeable \u00e0 toute intervention th\u00e9rapeutique de ce type : la perturbation cognitive post-chimioth\u00e9rapie (Chemobrain).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qu\u2019est-ce-que Chemobrain ?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>L&rsquo;ensemble des effets d\u00e9riv\u00e9s du traitement de chimioth\u00e9rapie dans le cerveau a \u00e9t\u00e9 baptis\u00e9 Chemobrain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le chemobrain est une <strong>condition caract\u00e9ris\u00e9e par une d\u00e9ficience cognitive, en particulier avec des difficult\u00e9s \u00e0 traiter l\u2019information chez les personnes sous chimioth\u00e9rapie ou les survivants du cancer.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il est important de diff\u00e9rencier les troubles cognitifs caus\u00e9s par certains agents chimioth\u00e9rapeutiques qui sont neurotoxiques et les troubles cognitifs r\u00e9sultants de tumeurs du syst\u00e8me nerveux central.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les effets de la chimioth\u00e9rapie sur le cerveau et les fonctions cognitives sont vari\u00e9s car <strong>il existe diff\u00e9rents types de chimioth\u00e9rapie<\/strong> avec des m\u00e9canismes d&rsquo;action particuliers.
